The
Atlantic’s capital is distinguished by the architecture of the republican epoch
at the Prado’s neighborhood and its museums, beaches and festivals. Barranquilla’s
carnival is the most important folk and cultural festival in Colombia; it was
even declared a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by
UNESCO. The city really shines during this celebration, but it’s also an ideal
destination for shopping, and a port where sailors from around the world can
dock their yachts and sailboats. Museums, historic squares, and lots
of music await those who come to Barranquilla and can visit to know them.
Beaches and natural havens for relaxation are also found in and around this
Caribbean city. These are only some of the wonderful places you can know if you
come and enjoy here.
