Barranquilla
is a modern city, located where the Magdalena River joins with the Caribbean
Sea. It has wide avenues, kind people that love parties and celebrations. It’s
known as The Golden Gate of Colombia because in the 90s was the way in of
merchants and tourists being the first in Colombia’s aviation. You
have to come and You’ll never forget it. The best carnival party after Rio’s carnival
is Barranquilla’s.

symphonic and folkloric groups; public libraries, stadiums for different sports,
recreational parks and a zoo. From It’s literary and other different groups
have born many important people that have shine in many fields like Gabriel
García Márquez, Álvaro Cepeda Samudio, Alejandro Obregón, Evaristo Sourdis,
Gustavo Bell, Luís Biava, Pacho Galán, Shakira and Silvia Tcherassi.
